  • Wireless Communications:

    Integrated GSM and PSTN modems for telemetry. Variety of ISM (licence exempt) band data communications, including Bluetooth for handheld devices. Implementation of cost effective quick-to-market RF solutions.

  • Fire Detection and Security:

    Design of intruder protection alarm systems, smoke and heat sensors and fire alarm control panels.

  • Marine Electronics:

    Design of market leading navigation and instrumentation systems for racing and cruising craft. This includes interfacing a variety of sensors, and development of advanced panel instruments and hand-held control units.

  • Water Industry:

    Design of ruggedised IP68 submersible data-logging products for flow and pressure monitoring. Handheld data download devices with infrared and wired interfaces. Portable display and analysis equipment for leakage detection.

  • Retail:

    Point Of Sale equipment including magnetic and smart card reading devices. Design of PC based compact terminals with integrated TFT display and touchscreen. Networked customer facing terminals for real-time stock checking.

  • PC Peripherals:

    A range of PC peripherals for HID (Human Interface Device) and custom control applications, using a variety of interfaces including Parallel, PS/2, RS232, RS485 and USB. Specialist knowledge of keyboard and pointing device interfacing.

  • Software:

    Embedded software development for a large range of microcontrollers, in C and assembler making use of real-time emulators and simulation tools. PC application development in VB, C, C++ and assembler.

  • Military:

    Rugged battlefield and airborne equipment for US and European forces.
